Methodology and caveats

QuantLink fetches politician disclosure records from the verified FastAPI politician endpoint and renders a limited public teaser from the returned fields. We preserve disclosure dates, transaction dates, ticker symbols, owner labels, asset descriptions, amount ranges, and official filing links when those fields are available.

STOCK Act filings disclose transaction amounts as ranges, not exact dollar values. The filing window can also create a 30-45 day delay between a transaction date and when the public sees the disclosure.

Household attribution matters. A row can be reported for Self, Spouse, or another disclosed owner, so the table should be read as disclosure activity rather than proof that the officeholder personally placed each trade.
